Common questions

A site still loads in mobile mode even with Desktop mode on.

Some sites use server-side device detection that ignores the user-agent. Try increasing the page width in Settings → Page width (1280 → 1600), or use the live width slider from the menu. If a site is hard-coded to redirect to a separate mobile domain, desktop spoofing alone can't undo that — visit the desktop URL directly.

Cursor mode clicks aren't landing where I aim.

Make sure you're on Webora v1.0 or newer — earlier builds had a coordinate-scaling bug that has since been fixed. If it still happens, please email with the page URL and the page-width setting.

Can I set Webora as my default browser?

Yes. Open Android Settings → Apps → Default apps → Browser app → Webora. Webora registers the standard browser intent filters and will handle every http:// and https:// link tapped from other apps.

Where are my bookmarks / history backed up?

Nowhere. Webora is on-device only — see the privacy policy. If you uninstall the app, your data is gone. You can manually back up the SQLite database via ADB if you need to migrate.

How do I delete my data?

See the data deletion page for three ways to wipe Webora's local storage (clear history in-app, clear app data via system settings, or uninstall).

Will Webora ever show ads?

The current version does not. A future version is expected to introduce in-app advertising as a way to sustain ongoing development. When that happens the privacy policy will be updated to disclose the ad network and what device signals are shared with it. Your browsing data, history and bookmarks will not be shared with ad networks regardless.
