Data deletion

Webora has no accounts and no server-side data. Everything the app stores lives on your device only — there is nothing on our side to delete because we don't have a "side" to store it on. You are always the only person who can see, export, or remove your data.

That said, you have three ways to remove the data Webora keeps locally. Pick whichever matches what you want to clear.

Option 1 — Clear browsing history from inside Webora

  1. Open Webora on your phone.
  2. Tap the Menu tab in the bottom nav.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Scroll to Privacy and tap Clear browsing history.

This removes every URL and page-title record. Bookmarks, settings, and open tabs are not affected.

Option 2 — Wipe all app data via Android settings

Removes everything Webora has ever stored on the device: history, bookmarks, tabs, settings, cookies, and the WebView cache.

  1. Open Settings on your phone.
  2. Go to Apps → Webora.
  3. Tap Storage & cache.
  4. Tap Clear storage (or Clear data on older Android), then OK.

The next launch of Webora will be a fresh install — empty Home, no history, default settings.

Option 3 — Uninstall

  1. Long-press the Webora icon on your launcher.
  2. Choose Uninstall, then confirm.

This removes the app and all its private data from the device permanently.

What about cookies set by sites I visited?

Webora uses Android's system WebView for rendering. Cookies, local storage and cache set by the sites you visited are part of the WebView's storage — they're wiped along with the app via Option 2 or Option 3 above. Option 1 (clearing browsing history) does not touch site cookies; if you want a hard reset of your browsing identity, use Option 2.

Can you delete my data on your servers?

No — because there are no servers. Webora is fully on-device. The only network calls the app makes are documented in our privacy policy (search suggestion lookups, favicon fetches, and Expo update checks), and none of them result in your data being stored by us.
